Aquatic environment treatment products are products that adjust the physical, chemical and biological properties of the environment in a direction that is beneficial for aquaculture.
Testing of aquatic feed and aquaculture environment treatment products is the process of checking, evaluating and determining the characteristics, uses and impacts of aquatic feed and aquaculture environment treatment products on the farming environment and food safety of farmed aquatic products.
Pursuant to the provisions of Article 35 of the 2017 Law on Fisheries and Article 31 of Decree 26/2019/ND-CP: Aquatic feed and aquaculture environmental treatment products must be tested in cases where they contain chemicals, biological products, microorganisms, and raw materials for the production of aquatic feed that are not listed in Point b and Point c, Clause 2, Article 31 of this Law.
