Testing aquatic breeds, aquatic feed, and aquaculture environmental treatment products.

Aquatic feed is a product that provides nutrients and ingredients beneficial to the growth of aquatic animals, including mixed feed, supplements, fresh feed and raw materials.

Aquatic environment treatment products are products that adjust the physical, chemical and biological properties of the environment in a direction that is beneficial for aquaculture.

Testing of aquatic feed and aquaculture environment treatment products is the process of checking, evaluating and determining the characteristics, uses and impacts of aquatic feed and aquaculture environment treatment products on the aquaculture environment and food safety of farmed aquatic products. Pursuant to the provisions of Article 35 of the 2017 Law on Fisheries and Article 31 of Decree 26/2019/ND-CP: Aquatic feed and aquaculture environmental treatment products must be tested in cases where they contain chemicals, biological products, microorganisms, and raw materials for the production of aquatic feed that are not listed in Points b and c, Clause 2, Article 31 of this Law.
